Lee likes these warmer, sunny days. And especially the mornings where he can sit with Lez out back and watch the deer and eagles go about their business.

So, back to the rink for game 3. Oh boy, what a game! The Generals were down 2-1 when with four minutes left they tied the game. And then it was off to overtime. Who else but Brady Van Herk scores the winner after two minutes. An exciting time in Parksville on a Saturday night.

This morning I participated in a ZOOM session with the Edmonton and District Quilters Guild. It was great to see and chat with some very long standing quilter friends. Once Covid hit, the guild quickly set up their meetings on the ZOOM platform and we have not missed a beat. Timing for us when Covid shut things down happened as we were about to start our travelling across the country. I had resigned myself to leaving the guild - and then ZOOM opened up the doors and it has been wonderful to keep in touch with quilters from Edmonton and other locations too - regardless of where we were docked. Love these "good new days".
