The boys just keep on winning.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

Lazing around the Schooner and then off to a hockey game. We are truly being entertained by these guys, the Oceanside Generals. Never mind the winning score, they outshot the opponents 52-20. It's a lot of fun.

Oh! Hockey relief! I SO missed the winter season hockey games - BUT I did manage to enjoy the quilt retreat while not missing any of the Oceanside Generals games, as they were on the road. What timing.

Tonight the team won 3-1 in Parksville. We enjoyed the usual chatter with the family of Oceanside's Brady van Herk and the bench moves of coach Dan Lemmon as he does his best to keep the players giving their best. Defenceman van Herk is 3rd in in points on the team, with 38 assists and 11 goals.

We settled in for the evening with another schmaltzy movie. It's good to be home.
