Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

Lee got a text from Ron next door early in the morning telling us that there were river otters in the estuary. Sure enough, there was a pair frolicking in the water and on the bank, and then they were, er, copulating, Over and over. Frisky little otters, they are.

What an interesting day as we watched and photographed the pair of River Otters, Bald Eagle, Great Blue Heron, Mallards, Snow Geese, Crows and Glaucaus Gulls. Lots of wee flowers dot the estuary shores. Spring is truly here.
