The Blue Herons are restless.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Lee wonders if it is Blue Heron mating time. There were seven of them together in the estuary today. They sat mostly still as herons do, but every once in a while a couple of them would get into a squawking match with wings spread out.
The sun shone and it was reasonbly warm today. Lee could finally work outside. So, pumping the bicycle tires, putting the replacement fender on the Schooner and cleaning out Chuck's box were in order.
We finished the evening with some good news - The Oceanside Generals avoided elimination with a win in North Saanich. So, we have another hockey game coming on Wednesday night.
Today was finishing the quilting and putting the bindings on two quilts. Done! We took the Sail Boat wall hanging to show our neighbour Hosts and let Janice and Ron know it is for them. I still have to put the hanging sleeve on it, now knowing where she has already decided it will go. One very old UFO (UnFinished Object) done!
There is one more quilt to finish and give to our other neighbour - when she gets back from visiting her sister.
