Lee was in a cooking frame of mind today. First, a spicy Moroccan soup that went over very well for lunch. Then, a fresh batch of Lee's infamous dinner rolls. It really is very relaxing and fun to cook up stuff that Lez enjoys at meal time.
Yes, it's a treat having an enthusiastic chef in the house! As chief cook and bottle washer for many years in the big house, I am enjoying not having to prepare meals - it is a super treat and his adventures in cooking are delicious.
We headed out to a Generals hockey game after dinner and enjoyed another Generals win ! The Oceanside Generals now have a two game win in the best-of-seven Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League North Division final as they take on the Campbell River Storm. The game fans were out in full force with a full house - just over 600 fans. I have been wearing my Oil Kings jersey to games - trying to encourage the fans to support their team and wear their colours. There are definitely more doing so! We are also being recognized as "those Kings fans".
