Great day for a grey day.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

A good day for chores since it will be cloudy and light rain. Ok then, laundry and groceries. By the time that is done, it is clear and sunny. Meteorological madness.

The herring season is now in full swing judging by the Seiners on the Salish Sea.

Lez sighs: Yes, even while on our adventure, we do need clean undies. The reality of RV living, not everyone has a washer and dryer on board. Surfside provides several laundry facilities and we find they are reasonably priced.

Today's time spent at the laundry building at the end of Parkville beach and the start of the Sea Wall provided a wonderful view of the deep blue waters as the sun came out and lit up the Seiners - the boats that drop their nets to catch the Herring.

After that, a few days of photos were attacked and the dust spots removed, some cropping too. Giving titles to the pictures consumed the rest of the day.

Salmon is on the menu for dinner tonight, and then I will head back over to the quilting machine.
