Wordle crap shoot.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
So, Lee has been playing Wordle for a while now. Today's hunt was one of those frustrating ones where it is not his knowledge of English but just about rollling the dice when there are several choices to complete one letter correctly. Might be shape, might be shame, might be shave might be shale, might be share. It's shake, which makes it five tries, way above Lee's average of 4.05. It's only a game.
Lez notes: Wordle for breakfast. No, we are not eating alpha-bits. Lee is enjoying the word game but also gives me a chance to pick possible words. Today was an example of that - as he went with my choices and they were not right. Close, as they say, but no cigar. Who knew there were so many possibilities for SHAxE.
After breakfast and spelling class, LOL, we went for a walk - about 2 hours around the roadways of Surfside along the estuary to the original RV section. Sun was warm. There are a lot of very permanent park models and extensive yard work. The tide was very low and many tree trunks and root balls were exposted. One large root that I 'feature' a lot in the photos was totally out of water - wish I had worn my rubber boots to walk the soft wet sandbar to photo it from all sides.
We watched the new BC Ferries craft, the Island Gwawis. The new ferry is set to serve the Nanaimo-Gabriola Island route. It was given a name in the Kwakwakawakw language from the Namgis First Nation, based in Alert Bay. A former chief and ex-councillor of the Snuneymuxw First Nation is upset the name was not given the name in the language of the First Nation of the Coast Salish People whose land is located in the centre of Coast Salish territory on the eastern coast of Vancouver Island.
