The wok woiks.

Lee decides it is time to try out the new wok. He makes oliebollen and appelflappen. They are fantastic and not that good for us. So, we won't eat too many at a time.

Lez smiles: I had a visitor! My brother Ralph came by and we spent a couple of hours chatting in the RV. He maneuvered the Schooner stairs safely, the prosthetic leg making some squeeky noises. We talked about a lot of things looking to the future. He would like to get his boat back into a slip he has in Blaine WA, and has been on the boat a couple of times as it is currently moored in Ladysmith. Tides are a factor as to when he goes to the boat, the ramp is easer to deal with when the tide is high and the slope is slight. Low tide requires his ability to push his wheelchair UP the ramp.

We decided to make a batch of Appelflappen and when the apples were done, we threw some raisins in the leftover dough mix and made the Oliebollen. Who says they can only be made for New Years Eve!
