It's finally time to gas up Chuck.

Lee and Lez head into Nanaimo for some serious supply shopping. First up, after almost 45 days, is to gas up the truck. We apparently don't drive much.

The snow starts as Lee empties the supplies into the Schooner. Bring it on - we are ready.

Lez groans: Groceries. Well we decided that this would be a good time to hit the big city Super Store and stock up on long term needs - paper products and other items that are running low. Weather forecast today is for a mega storm tonight with 10 to 20cm of snow. We were not alone in stocking up. Roads were still good - yesterday's rain had subsided, and temperatures had risen.

All is now divided up if need be, and tucked away in the fridge, the freezer, the outdoor kitchen and fridge and bulky paper products in the pickup.

Catching up on the blogs, LOL - trying to remember what we did! Fortunately, the photos are triggers for some of that.

Lee has chicken in the oven and has made a very delicious smelling tomato sauce to go with the pasta. After dinner with a bottle of wine, I suspect we will hunker down and catch a couple of shmaltzy movies. Now an evening staple.
