No home cooking today.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Today dawned as one of those days where both Lee and Lez were busy with projects and whatever. There was little enthusiasm for stopping to make meals, so we ate out for breakfast and brought in for dinner. It's hard work, but someone has to do it.
Lez has no comment today, Lee thinks. She is busy sewing electric lights into a quilt. What in the world will she think of next.
Thanks for stepping in dear. Yes, focused on the binding of the little quilt that will light up and hang in our window for Christmas. With a bit of luck and fewer sewing issues, there will be a photo for tomorrow's blog.
We did manage a nice 45 minute walkabout around half past 8 tonight. Very few places where we know people are living currently had any lights on in their place. I guess we are the night owls.
We wandered the Sea Wall and observed a very low tide tonight. The air was clear and crisp, toques and gloves needed. Not very many RVs lit up for Christmas this year. I guess most of the RVers truly use this RV resort as their summer cottage days. Last year we lucked out with photos of many lit up places - as no one headed south.
