Foggier than the brain after a good wine.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
I guess you could call it - socked in. Very peaceful, no rain, but fog all around us.
It is Monday, so chores day. Lee hosed down and refilled Hobbes' litter box while Lez vacuumed. Not a big chore when you have a mere 300 square feet.
Speaking of Hobbes, he cried his way outside about three or four times today. One of the outings he sauntered down the estuary to Theresa's place. She came out with the cat treat bag in hand. What a hit that guy is.
Lez does housework: Boring yes, but for those considering moving into an RV to travel extensively - consider things like vacuuming and washing floors. Carpet is softer on the foot, but oh my does it hold dust and unidentifiables. Also, consider your vacuum. Ours is small - who needs anything big. Storage size was more of a concern. Enough about reality of life - GRIN.
The sewing machine is humming, the rotary cutter is prepping fabric squares and iron just chewing up the electricity! I should be able to share the project in a few days. My smile is a mile wide. Have a real mess on the table looking out at the estuary - when the rain isn't hitting that window. Now back to another project, sewing of course. Oh and really roughing it - listening to our CDs - all 209 of them. Oh, we left some in storage back home too.
