Flowers in the park.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

We enjoyed a truly warm day in Surfside today. Lee took the opportunity to do some cleaning around the Schooner.

We had a great BBQ dinner and walked the seawall after. Many of the sites along the seawall have now put out their outside furniture and the places look much more lived in.

The Parksville Park is full in bloom with many types of flowers. A colourful place to wander.

We finished the evening enjoying wine around the Atkinson firebowl.

You can tell we are getting ready to start more travelling. Cleaning and clearing. Several items have been un-tethered so we can access and use them, and now have to find their travel home where they will stay safe and not bounce around as we 'haul out'. Oh yes, even the paved roads are not all smooth. We do avoid the gravelled ways as much as possible - but sometimes they cannot be avoided. I guess that why we are 'Roads LESS Gravelled'.

We will miss the evenings of fire pit conversations with Ron and Cami, always lively as we solve all the world's problems, sharing the flat lander and tree hugger points of view.
