Lee took in a load of laundry to a laundromat in Tofino. He did not use the on-site laundry because it only uses cold water. And they wonder why we have rated this campground as one-star yellow.

Anyways, off to Tofino to do laundry. There's time to kill as the machines do their work, so Lee wanders over to main street. It's Saturday and Tofino is busy. Busy with organic coffee and sandwich sales, whole wheat bagels and overpriced health drinks. The streets are crawling with Teslas and BMWs. And the surf shops are busy with copious numbers of right-hand drive Japanese imports filling the parking spots.

We went for a walk on the beach later in the day and faced a stiff breeze for the first time out here. You could see the waves of sand blowing across the beach.

While Lee took care of laundry, I dd a cleaning sweep of the RV, shaking out carpets, sweeping and vacuuming. It was a peaceful and feel good day to tend to the Schooner.

After our respective chores, we sat on our lawn chairs outside and took in the sunshine, and chatted with neighbours. Hobbes slept through most of it, only being carried to the beach later for a beach wander.
