Lee thinks having the beach about 50 meters away is really cool. It rained most of today but drier weather is on the way. He took Hobbes for a walk all the way to the beach but Hobbes was a bit unsure about this big sandbox. We'll see what he thinks once the sun is shining.

This island is so not like any other location in Canada. The tall evergreens, shrubs and trees so green. The Arbutus/Madrone is the only native broadleaf evergreen tree in Canada and it lives on Vancouver Island.

Hobbes hasn't protested the harness as I expected. Out he goes with Lee - like a dog! He wanders, Lee follows. Not moving too fast. Lee actually had him on the beach. I can just imagine - "wow this is the biggest litter box ever!". A peaceful evening, but lots of rain.
