Fine dinner out and fire pit in.

A day to slow down. Our hosts started a fire pit early, so we have lots of time to sit around and chat.

Lez cleans house! Yup, vacuuming, scrubbing and making pear cobbler! Our hosts' pear and apple trees have dropped lots of fruit on the ground these past few days. So we snagged a bucket full of pears. I'll be sharing with the Macarena who respond their desire to get some. Meanwhile, I found a recipe for pear cobbler and made two!

The later afternoon was enjoyed at the firepit with our hosts. A calm end to a good weather day, as we waited for A and M to bring Chuck the truck back.

We had switched vehicles with Alec and Mimi so they could use the truck to haul some furniture. This evening we switched back and enjoyed a dinner out with the four of us.
