Ah, the smooth feeling of being back home.

Lee observes the quality of the roads in Alberta. What a relief from Saskatchewan. An easy drive to Plamondon and then into a nice campground right on Lac La Biche.
There is a sparrow sitting quite low in the trees next to the Schooner chirping at us. It may be - go away, it might be - welcome, have any food for me.
Laundry facilities are very close, so we take advantage of it.
Lez enjoyed the somewhat smoother highway conditions today. I have been working on an embroidery project as we travel, and some days it has been quite the challenge to thread a bouncing needle or actually get the stitch in the right place of the fabric. Oh - the embroidery project. Well, sometime in the early 1970's (honeymoon or other visit to the Netherlands) I purchased a nice white table cover that required embroidery work. Over the years, it has seen the light of day, and others may have even worked on it. As we packed up and moved into the Schooner, 453 days ago, I brought the UFO (unfinished object) along for the ride. It is progressing - and I made a commitment to have it done for next June 17th. LOL - why do I get myself into these predicaments.
