Sunday, a day of rest.
Tisdale Lions Campground (2 stars)
Living in the Schooner is like living in our house, of course, it IS our house. Lee decided that today would be a good day to stay home and do some house maintenance. Mostly that meant fixing some more broken window blinds. All went well and they were done by sundown.
Lee also started on marking our large map of Canada with the 2020 travels. Wow, we did a lot considering we didn't start until August 4.
Lez chimes in: Our house, in the middle of the street. What song is that from Oh well - our house is moveable and yet this will be our 4th night here! The weekend campers all travelled back home today, so it is pretty quiet once again. HOT once again, but the sun was out of sight for most of the day and clouds threaten a rain storm. I think the air is too hot here, and the clouds are evaporating before they reach us! Good thing we have the A/C. As the sun set, the winds cooled off nicely.
I brought out the sewing machine today. Found a fabric panel that will not make it into a quilt, but is perfect for a new seat cover for Lee's side of the kitchen table. I just need to hand stitch the ends to close off the project. Lee can use it, but has been cautioned not to mess with the pinned end.
Windows will be wide open for the breeze tonight!
