Wind, wind and more gusty wind.
Kings Acres, Regina (1 star)
We decided to stay put today and tend to some maintenance. The crappy parking lot at the East Regina Superstore had caused some damage to the Schooner, which Lee set out to repair. Silicone sealant is his best friend next to PL Premium.
The wind was incredible all day long. Lee does not recall ever having to live with wind like that in Edmonton.
Lez is catching up with correspondence and photos: With the wind rocking the Schooner it is like we are on the high seas today. The 74kph wind gusts are welcoming us back. Fortunately, the RV has its back end to the wind - or I swear we would be on our side! A good day NOT to be on the highway.
Not a lot to blog about today. 31C and the gale force wind. But it's a dry heat. LOL. No plans for the evening. Love being retired, and love travelling, visiting and not having any commitments on the horizon. Although, it does cause one to forget what day it is!
SO, the day continues on - and as I label the photos, I like to be correct in naming etc. Spelling, well I count on Lee to help out there as we edit each other's work. Today's labelling includes pics of the old Bell Barn we drove past yesterday. There is an incredible amount of information about the current (new version) of the barn built to replace the old one that was built in the late 1800's. There is so much history of farming and so much more from "back in the day" which suggests we should backtrack and visit it.
