The crows are talking to us.
Port Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)
There are a pair of crows that hang around the firepit area and seem to talk to us or to themselves. Some of it seems to resemble actual words. Too funny.
Lez muses: What would those old crows be chattering about. Today was a "slow" day for me, as I was working on that quilt project. It is now ready for the quilting - layering the quilt front with a batting and a backing fabric. The mid-arm may see the light of day after a fresh walk with the Macarena - the La Perle babysitting co-op girlfriends who have become "besties" and continue to keep in touch - wherever we are.
Lee threw a steak on the bar-b and we dined on that with fried mushrooms sauted in Pinot Noir, and some spices; along with a mixed greens salad with bacon bits, avacado, parmesan flakes and a few glasses of that Pinot Noir. We enjoyed the last of the wine as we sat outside the Schooner and took in the view of the pasture as the sun started to set. Lee worked very hard outside today, looking for leaks and hopefully finding them all.
