Where are you, Hobbes.
Port Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)
Lee couldn't do a lot today because of the rain. It was on and off all day.
During one off time, Hobbes went out for a stroll. After a while, we wanted to get him back in, but he was nowhere to be found. Lez finally found him in some bushes, probably hunting for mouse because that is the place he caught one a few days ago.
When Lee is stuck inside, thoughts inevitably turn to software work. A number of enhancements in Carolyn's software were made today.
Lez is impressed, the forecast was bang on! Lez is also not impressed - the forecast was bang on. It was a poopy rainy day, and got pretty windy at one point - so the Schooner was rockin' like the high seas for a bit. Hobbes went outside anyway, between the rainy bits. It was actually fairly warm. Of course he wandered and we called and called and he ignored us, too buy sniffing out another mouse. He was not impressed I'm sure, we interrupted his mouse hunt.
For me. a perfect day for working on a quilt project.
The project will be revealed when the other members of the challenge have all submitted their quilted wall-hangings, so you will have to wait before seeing anything or learning anything more than it's a "whispers" project. Using the same premise as when someone whispers a sentence in your ear, and you whisper it into the next person's ear, and the round goes to the end of the circle of friends - and we learn just how different the final sentence is. In our case, I only see the quilt before me, not the original quilt that inspired the first quilter, whose quilt inspires the next quilter - etc. I am 3rd in a group of 9, and we each have a month to complete our quilt to show the next person. Yes, it will be awhile before I share more!
