Rear seat reminder nonsense.
Glowing Embers RV Park, Acheson AB (1 star)
Lee took Chuck in today to get a GMC recall item dealt with. Apparently, a "rear seat reminder" function was not activated. OK, so it gets done (computer chip update) and Lee moves on to other chores. At one stop he notices that the doors are unlocked when he walks back to the vehicle. What! In addition, everytime he turns the vehicle off, he gets a message on the dash which says (sort of) "Check your back seat to make sure you didn't your little kid in there". Back to the dealer where an advisor works her way through the settings to get both irritants reversed. It's all good now.
Lez stretches a lazy stretch: Sitting at the computer today, finalizing three quilt block patterns for Quilts of Valour - Canada. These are little 9" x 9" squares of fabric with another piece ironed onto it. A little challenging these ones are - to go from real to photo with understandable (and correctly spelled) instructions. They are done! A few more blocks to do that are of a traditional pattern patchwork style. In my "zone" working with fabric, quilt patterns and a software package (app) that helps design the layouts. Now to actually cut some fabric and see if the instructions are correct!
Lee bar-b-que'd half a salmon we brought back (frozen) from the coast. yumm!
Most of the wet spots on the ground are gone - amazingly fast. A quiet day.
