Need my grubber boots.
Glowing Embers RV Park, Acheson AB (1 star)
Rainy and windy, but somehow peaceful. The Schooner is comfortable and Lee is slowly organizing things we will do before leaving the Edmonton area.
We spent quite a bit of time talking health, probably initiated by Lez's rough night. Lee is focused on letting the liver do its best job, having diabetes and wanting to eat healthier. The Keto method is becoming very interesting to us. We concluded that we follow that diet for a considerable portion of our food choices; we just need to walk away from some things, like grains and pastas. Stay tuned.
We had a fantastic family dinner at Chris and Aaron's place, with new addition Mimi joining us, as well as mom from Parksville via Zoom.
Lez is feeling much better: No sore arm, just sore sides from the night before. What a weather change too! It started raining late yesterday and continues today. Our campground is filled with puddles, one deep enough to prevent Lee from checking one of our outside lockers. Cold and dreary, but we are warm and dry inside. Heading over to A and C's for a dinner, a chance to see the kids again. Ready to Zoom in with mom too!
A great visit, great dinner, great Mother's Day (early). Am blessed with a wonderful family.
