Trans Mountain everywhere.
Map - Blue River to HintonGateway RV Park, Hinton AB (no stars)
We drove through every type of weather from Blue River to Hinton. Chuck is SO comfortable to drive and sit in. As the clicks passed, there was Trans Mountain pipeline work almost continously near the side of the highway. What a project!
Funny how things happen, just when they should. We have a long list of things to do and some items to fix when we get to Edmonton. Today, the Schooner step more or less gave up the ghost, hanging on by one weld. We will get a new one in a few days.
Lez is truly relaxed: With embroidery in hand, the miles flew by. A very quiet Yellowhead Hwy all the way through to Hinton AB, our evening stop at a private campground. The other 3 campgrounds, including a KOA we looked up were closed for the season still.
Camera was not ready in hand, but I did manage a quick photo of the Grizzly along the road east of Mt. Robson. There were Elk in Jasper, and heading west out of the townsite. There were BIghorn Sheep and Mountain Goat. What a time of year to see all that. We could not pull over to capture better footage of the Griz - a semi on our tail. and then HAD to slow down because a Bighorn decided that this was HIS territory.
