Fire and mice.
Port Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)
We started the day by lighting a fire in the pit and burning more financial records that we had already reviewed for travel details. That took three hours but was a nice, peaceful time which we finished by roasting hot dogs over the coals. Hobbes was in and out, including his return with a prize - his second mouse. Lee decided it was time to hang some more art in the Schooner. After that, we started on the stair covers. We made burgers for supper (and Lez's now famous macaroni salad). We ended the day by sharing a nice Orofino wine with the Zeisslers followed by marshmallows over the firepit.
Lez notes: a quiet and slow day - lots of reflection of our world at the moment.
