Fish and chipper.
Port Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)
Lee started out early by mowing around the firepit and the open area west of the house. After that, he attacked a small open area between the house and Ordze Crescent. This area had not seen any maintenance for some time it seemed. Before even attempting to mow it, all larger branches needed to be set aside. That resulted in two large piles of branches that will keep the chipper busy for a few hours. Then, the area got mowed. Lee loves driving that John Deere tractor! Lez stayed in the Schooner binding two quilts for a friend and finishing the table runner for our hosts. At supper, we joined Patricia and Derek Di Palma for fish and chips (and lots of conversation) at Cafferty's pub. The weather was great for the 15 minute walk over to the pub and back.
Lez says: It felt good to be able to go to a pub again - but a little scary too with the thought of easy it is to catch Covid-19.
