See, I came back.
Port Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)
The day started warm amd muggy, with lightning storms in the forecast. First, a quick trip to the Flying J. Then, Lee helped Brittany get the oldest of three tractors ready for mowing. That included finding the old mower deck for that tractor. That piece was hiding in the weeds near the firepit. Brittany told us that it had been there for several years. Anyways, we got it cleaned up, got the blades sharpened and the deck staged under the tractor. That's when the rain began and that was the end of that for the day. Meanwhile, Hobbes had been out around the acreage for most of the non-rain day. We are becoming more confident in his travels. He seems to go along one of three paths and, today, he came back from the far end of the driveway on his own. He then hung around Charlie and the Schooner for most of the rest of his free time. We are so proud of him. We finished the day with a great steak on the BBQ and corn on the cob. I guess we're not suffering as far as feeding ourselves is concerned.
Lez burbs: No, we are not suffering!
