Map - Banff to CanmoreWapiti Campground, Canmore, AB (1 star)
Lee is unfazed by this RV Park because we sleep so soundly. Otherwise, we'd be up all night long between the sound of the trains and the eighteen wheelers going by.
We said good-bye to James and Roz, the Brits we first met in Thompson Creek campground by Saskatchewan Crossing. They head home to Salisbury, England on Sunday. Lee has a feeling we will see them again sometime.
It was a bit of a housekeeping day - yes, that still has to be done too. And yes, there is still fudge left!
We spent some time sitting and chatting with James and Roz, a pair of Brits who have been in Banff several times (kinda like we have done in the Netherlands and Le Mans). I did a bit of prep work for the info session I will be giving tomorrow.
Ralph and Simona are in the area as he is showing her western Canada. She is visiting from Romania! They stopped by our campsite for very quick "hello" - which I neglected to include in the blog - so am adding it now (Oct 5!).
We spent firepit time with Roz and James and will definitely be visiting them should we ever get to England once more.
