Pulling the hauler.
Alpine Inn, Valemount BC (2 stars)
We pulled the U-Haul trailer, aka the Hauler, almost 750 kilometers today from Parksville to Valemount. It felt a lot like pulling the Schooner, but just a little lighter.
One thing about pulling a U-Haul, or anything else, is that Lee has to be totally aware of the unit in tow, and all traffic. Passing another vehicle means, on a single lane highway, driver must see free and clear well beyond the pokey in front of us. It also means being well beyond the pokey we are passing before cutting pokey off, er, clearing pokey.
