Clear and present danger.

Well, sort of. It is usually a clear and present danger for the ducks, mice and fish in the estuary when the eagles are around. The prey usually scatters in all directions when they fly over.

For us, not so much. There was a clear and present danger that we may run out of red wine at supper, but we managed.

For those of you who follow the Harrison Ford movies, many people relate to his Indiana Jones character. Ford's Jack Ryan is the hero in the movie Clear and Present Danger. This thriller is filled with action and worth an adventure movie night 29 years after we first saw it.
