A quiet day, ending with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Well, Lee found some interesting old stuff in the box today. Many examples of 1970's and 1980's computer work. There was a write-protect ring from an IBM 2401 tape drive like the ones used on the IBM 360-40 at the University of Regina before they acquired the Xerox Sigma 9. A quick read of the tape drive reference manual revealed that it was incredibly slow. But, back then, we were amazed by its capacity.

Today is another gloomy day. The view out the back window shares the tidal waters out back. The tide is going down again. The clouds are so low there is no mainland visible, no island mountains visible. It must be time to get back to recording the daytimers.

We ended our evening entertainment with Indiana Jones - The Last Crusade. Had forgotten many scenes and was very entertained. Definitely a great blast from the past.
