Water and clouds.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Lez went outside to take some photos while Lee was making breakfast. Lee is not sure why she went because all there is to see is a lot of tidal water and clouds. Oh well, there is always a new vista, but you have to get close to catch it.
A crisp morning on the estuary, the fog is in my brain today. Fortunately there are no commitments on my calendar until a hockey game tonight.
The views out the back of the RV all come from our stationary spot along the estuary, but every day there is a change. The grasses now are very brown, and a mosslike ground creeper is a quite bright green. The evergreens in Shelly Park across the estuary are a deep dark green, making a great backdrop for the leafless shrub bushes between Shelly and the estuary waterways that end up in the water behind our Schooner. A Bufflehead flotilla is gliding by as I write. One of the Bald Eagles glides over the estuary and the ducks and geese are keeping an eye on the sky.
We walked "up the hill" to get a few groceries this morning. The sun came out for most of our walk, and no rain (it was forecast). LOL and the day's not over. My lower back was bothering me on the walk and I don't know why. As I am sitting here, there are no issues. Time for a snooze before dinner and an evening watching the Generals take on the Kerry Park Islanders.
