Measuring by candle minutes.

A while back we bought a candle that has the days of December on it, up to Christmas. So, we decided to burn one day each meal for the days to Christmas. Today's first day was just about the right length for our supper meal.

I spent most of the day with my sewing machine humming, making a bag for the little character we bought for the Teddy Bear toss at tomorrow's Oceanside Generals game.

Tonight we made an old favourite we hadn't had for awhile - Schnitzel and Spaetzle. Yum. Settling in for movie night.
