A newspaper, really.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Does anyone remember printed newspapers. Well, the old fogies around Parksville and Qualicum Beach rely on them still. There's nothing like opening the PQB News and having a couple of dozen fliers fall out onto your lap.
Lee took a look at this week's edition because someone told him that the fliers show all the store deals for the week. Lee took a look and didn't really see any deals. The PQB News is free and Lee got his money's worth.
Coffee time today with Chris Longmore was another weekly ritual we have, usually Wednesdays, and it is going to one that I miss when we settle back in Edmonton. We talk non-stop about everything. We connected at the guild meetings and retreats. Sadly I no longer remember the circumstances. This reminds me - I MUST get Lee to take a picture of her and I. Meanwhile, we settled for the day recording daytimers and enjoying some viewing of life on the estuary waters. A warm spot behind the RV in the afternoon sun is such a relaxing place to spend time and take photos. There is always something of interest.
