Do you remember where you were when it was reported that John F. Kennedy had been shot in Dallas. Lee does. He was in a special interest class at the old Douglas Park Public School in SE Regina on a Friday afternoon in 1963. The teachers, as he recalls, pulled a TV on a rolling cart into the gym and the older kids watched the drama unfold.
I do recall walking home from Coronation Park School in Regina, trying to grasp the news of the assassination. A term that was neither in my vocabulary or mind.
The coffee day has been moved to Thursday, so this is a great time to continue to record the daytimer which has August 2010 left to do. It's a slow process as I am taking time to actually read them all, and type the info into the spreadsheet. I know, that slows things down.
