Let the women join a sew day.

Lee took Lez on a little road trip today, all the way to Duncan. He used to drive that far just to get to the other side of Edmonton, but a road trip all the same.

The women leave for some sort of sewing gathering and Lee enjoys a few hours with Pat talking about hockey and life. Pat has tremendous insight into everything hockey given his involvement in the sport for many years.

We headed out to visit long standing quilter friend Marj and hubby Pat for the day. Marj and I and Ev Dunne and others got together once a week for our sewing-quilting-chatter day, before Lee and I left Edmonton. Wonderful memories, and I do miss "sew day".
