Guess the birdie.

Lee notes that Lez took another great photo today, this time of a bird on our side fence. Lee has spent some time surfing the internet for its name. However, even though people will say it is a Common Flicker or Red Shafted Flicker, the colours on its head sure don't match up very well. Maybe someone can confirm or deny the ID.

The clouds are getting stuck on the Arrowsmith range of mountains, and breaks in the lower clouds reveal more clouds above them.
