Living forest visit.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

We drove over to Living Forest RV Park which is located on the south end of Nanaimo. We visited with Dan and Joyce Karau there, along with their dogs Jake and Charlie. They are from Esterhazy. We have been on their acreage a couple of times and we have hooked up on our travels in a couple of places also. They pull a fifth wheel about the same size as our Schooner. A great time around the firepit enjoying stories of where we had travelled in the past.

After a stop at the MB Mart - a small market business that carries a lot of middle eastern food items - we came home loaded with Hummus and Pita Chips - pita that has been sliced and deep fried and spiced with Mediterranian flavours. Goes great with Hummus. If you are ever near there - do not hesitate to stop in. There is so much more!
