Yes, it was that time again. Get Hobbes's toenails clipped. The lady at the pet store is so patient with her patients, pun intended. They got clipped and there was no sign of blood anywhere.

We had a great famiy dinner (the last with mom). Lots of good conversation as usual.

Hobbes interjects: Enough of mom's grins. She clipped my toenails while another lady held me hostage!

Lez gives him yet another comfort brushing. Sigh. Yes, Hobbes's nails were getting just a little too long, and I'm sure as uncomfortable to him, almost as much as his reaching out to Lee's lap with the little razors to get attention.

Lots of post trauma treats, lots of pats, and then next thing you know he is snoring on his favourite spot on the bed.

Spent time working on quilt block patterns for QOVC before heading to mom's for our last Sunday family dinner at her place until quite likely our planned next October winter stay. A rainy day, hardly stepped outside.
