So, we had sun and wind, clouds and rain, still and misty rain. And then all combinations thereof. What a day. Lee stayed indoors and snooped through some memorabilia that has been patiently waiting in the basement storage locker to be scanned.

Hobbes can be tough to understand. Some days when it is nice, he just doesn't want to go out. Today, during the wind and cloudy period he went out and explored about five sites down the waterway, keeping Lee moving so as to stay warm. When he was done, he gave that sort of meow that says 'carry me home'. So Lee did just that.

Lez yawns: Time to write up the blog and call it a night. It is POURING rain out there at the moment , midnight on the nose. It was a vacuum and clean sinks etc day, which, yes much less time than the big house, but still a chunk of the day. But earlier in the day we had open doors and a window and the roof vents. According to our thermometer it did get as high as 13c today. But by the time we were finished chores, and emails and other catch-up tasks, the wind picked up with great force, then settled down while we had a delicious Nasi Goring dinner (Indonesian Fried Rice) and beer - the Mount Arrowsmith Brewery's Blonde Ale that went just perfectly with it. As I played in the EQ quilting design program, we could feel the Schooner rockin'. Now time to say 'Good night'.
