A Ferrari-fueled firepit.

Lee says - no, of course not, there were no Ferraris thrown into the firepit. Brittany and Carolyn put on a wonderful BBQ dinner and gathering around their firepit, and invited some friends who also have a Ferrari. There was lots of car-talk around the flames. We had a great time.

For me it was a slow day, which I did enjoy. Our hostess had a huge haul of fresh apples from one of their trees, and was making apple pies. I enjoyed watching and "encouraging" her progress. She had the greatest gizmo for peeling, coring and slicing apples in less that 5 seconds. I sure could have used that on the 10th when I picked and then spent a day standing at the counter, pealing, coring and slicing my bucket of apples.

We then enjoyed their firepit again with more new friends to share collector car stories.

The weather has been cooperating too - giving us sunny days, cool but firepit worthy.
