Lez gets extracted.
Port Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)
On our dentist's recommendation, Lez had an ailing molar extracted before it could infect the adjacent tooth or sinus bone. It all went well.
The extraction was around 3:00 pm and Lez was quite surprised to get a call from the dentist at 9:00 pm asking how she was feeling. Very impressive.
It was time today for Lee to take the spare tire carrier from underneath the Schooner. It had been bent up during the infamous ditch short cut experience in Meziadin Junction BC and could no longer carry the spare. As with many things on older RVs (read - anything older than a year or so) the bolts had to be cut off with the reciprocating saw in order to get it out. It is pretty bent up and Lee will now see if it can be straightened out and re-used. He's not optimistic.
Some "discomfort" but no real pain. I would recommend Andrew Leoni in the Dential Service Group to anyone in need of extractions. As I have had major work done before, I know I could still have some soreness for awhile, but no more infection or real pain. Yes, very surprised and impressed by the follow-up call. We can head to the coast in stable health.
Oh! To add a topping to the day, our hockey teams both won their games tonight - OIl Kings first game of the season win 4-2; and Oceanside Generals are undefeated in 5 games winning tonight 5-4 in overtime. Looking forward to catching the games and "visiting" with the parents of a few of the players.
