I got to the venue around 4 pm. The first warmup band had already started playing. They were a Heart tribute band from Edmonton. For a tribute band they played pretty accurate to the originals.
The rest of the line-up delivered pretty much as expected; I had seen all of them before. They were as entertaining as ever.
This may have been the hottest weather that I have ever experienced at an outdoor concert. Several times a band member had to stop for a few minutes so they could cool down. Many wet towels were brought out for the performers to put around their necks while performing.
Both Kat Lawrence of the Headpins and Sass Jordan were not moving and jumping on stage as much as I had seen in previous concerts. It was just too hot.
