Alec, Mimi, Kiki, Tammy and Hung left for Edmonton after breakfast. I wandered over to my sister-in-law Mary's house to drop off some items I had brought along from Edmonton and that I had originally brought from Parksville after my brother-in-law Ralph passed in early 2025.
To her surprise, Mary found one of her original paintings among the items. She had given it to us many years ago and I returned it to her, much to her delight.
Next, I drove to Brenda Hick's home to deliver some fabric out of Lez's stash. She and Lez had been friends for almost 50 years, even though they had lived 800 kilometers apart for over 40 years. Brenda's late husband, Aubrey, and I worked together for a few years at SaskTel, but the friendships have lasted over the decades.
