The house is going up fast.

I was gone for almost two weeks so it was time to go have a peek. Being Victoria Day, there were very few people working around the area. The house framing is complete and I imagine they will do the roof shingling this week.

I managed to have a peek inside the lower floor and had a chance to see where my room will be.

I walked south past the storm pond until I could go no further due to the huge soil piles and berms in my way. It is probably only about 100 meters to the edge of the North Saskatchewan River valley. Big Island Provincial Park lays at the bottom of the river valley at that point.

I am looking forward to exploring around the area once I am settled.
