Help is on the way.

Given the huge challenge of dispersing Ralph's belongings, Alec decided to come over and help. He flew to Vancouver and took the Duke Point ferry to the island.

Ralph's bathroom tub had lots of cleaning supplies to be discarded. Lee wondered about the mix of items though - five shampoo bottles and no conditioner bottles.

There was also the matter of Ralph's truck. This goose chase involved Ralph's bank that held a loan on the truck, the local registry office concerning the license plate removal and cancellation, and a final stop at the Chrysler dealership to get their opinon.

Strange but true. Leave it on the street with the keys locked in it. It will eventually get towed to a storage lot by city bylaw officers. Eventually, the bank will search for the truck because no payments are being made on the loan. Finally the bank will use their collections department to get the truck, sell it and use the proceeds against the loan. My guess is that by September the truck will still be in storage.

We truly appreciated Alec was able to come out to thecoast and lend a hand and advice to get mom's apartment bare to the walls.
