Big Creek Territorial Campground, Big Creek YT (2 stars)

We headed further east on the Alaska Highway and decided to spend the night in Big Creek Campground just west of the Highway 37 junction.

Lee got into a conversation with a couple and their dog from Ontario and were soon joined by a man from Germany. As it turns out, he bought a used Toyota Hiace in Germany and built his own camper on the back. Some people have too much time on their hands, Lee thinks. He and his wife are now touring North America in it.

Our journey today took us from Whitehorse to Big Creek campground in the Yukon. There were many campers in this site, and Lee got chatting with one of the other campers. Then, a camping visitor from Germany joined them and subsequently the evening had us all chatting with camping neighbours, sharing our adventures until well after dark. Did we share names LOL.
