Hockey games are always so much more fun when your team is winning.

Ahhh, life is good. Hockey game tonight! We headed to Comox for some shopping, dinner at Ricky's and to watch the VIJHL Oceanside Generals play the Glacier Kings in the Kings' home rink, the Comox Valley Sports Centre. We like to sit close to the van Herk family at the Generals games at home or away. We all cheer on van Herk family member, hockey player Brady, a 6ft 4 defencement on the team, with the 2nd highest points (43) on the team and highest points for a Defenseman in the junior league. His team mate Carter Johnson got a natural hat trick (3 goals in a row - for our non-hockey followers) and a 4th goal too

Brady is one gentleman sportsman too - going over and shaking the hand of the referee.

Needless to say we drove safely home with big smiles and an Timmies stop to pick up Timbits and coffee.
