A greasing great time.

Port Ordze, Sherwood Park, AB (2 stars)

Lee greased the bearings on the Schooner today in time for tomorrow's take-off. It has been a short and interrupted sleep as Hobbes was again bothered with what we think is a blocked colon. We put him out at around 2 am and left him out all day while his system slowly settled down. Later in the day, we brought him in and he has been asleep in the basket ever since.

Lee mentioned to Lez that next year's 24 Heures Du Mans (the 90th running) is on her 70th birthday, a few days before our 50th anniversary. Lee thinks some travel plans are emerging.

Lez is gob-smacked! OMG! The Man has just pointed out a certain date next June (2022) noting the "90th edition of the biggest race in endurance racing will take place on 11 - 12 June 2022. Experience it and share it with your family and friends". I fully intend to spend my 70th birthday at said event. A phrase that comes to mind, thank you Charlie Farqueson, "It's darkest before it dawns on ya"! Wow - it did just dawn on me.
