Map - Port Ordze to Clearwater

Dutch Lake RV Park (2 stars)

Lee had the Schooner ready to pull out of Port Ordze early in the morning. As Lez idled Chuck the Schooner down the driveway, Lee stood on a ladder a couple of times to lift up some low hanging willow branches.

The trip to Clearwater was uneventful, starting out with fog west of Edmonton to cool and sunny down Highway 5 in BC. We settled in at Dutch Lake beside a tranquil lake.

Lez beams: I get to pull the Schooner again! OK - it was only down the driveway, but I did it!

The day was a foggy start, which made for some really cool photos - yes, the cameras are smokin' again! We are ON ROADS LESS GRAVELLED once more. As we pulled into Edson we stopped for lunch stop at "Wendy's" for the Dave Burger LOL and then away we continued, with ME at the wheel! I got the feel of the highway to Hinton where we switched drivers. Once we headed onto Hwy 5 south, I took over driving at Valemount all the way to Clearwater! Lee doesn't have too many more grey hairs!
