Something old and something old

Yes, both items on the table are old. The stitched table cover was bought in the Netherlands in 1972 on our honeymoon as a kit. Lez finished it just in the stitch of time as we approached our 50th anniversary a few years ago.

The origin of the Delft Blue bowl and lid baffles us. All we know is that we have had it for a long time.

We are on a two day reprieve now from hockey games. The next one is Wednesday night against the Saskatoon Blades. We just finished playing the Lethbridge Hurricanes three times in three nights, earning five out of a possible six points. We were very entertained.

Well, the lack of hockey games keeping us out of trouble are going to be the catalyst for giving me some attention to the quilt projects (yes plural) that are patiently marinading LOL. Six large plastic totes are filled to the gills (bet you didn't know totes had gills!). They share the walk-through closet that you can't walk through without some high stepping.
